I’m going to Japan to visit my partner over the end-of-year break. I wanted to bring something made, not just bought, so from the start of December I was pretty busy with CAD.

Branch ring #

A branch ring design with organic-ish lines, printed in grey, painted with metallic copper. Made 2! one for me and one for her.

Earrings #

Rhombus earrings:

And Star and Cross Tiling / infinite tiling inspired earrings. My partner is doing her master’s at JAIST (Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) and her research touches tiling problems, so this one felt on-theme.

2025 Love Struck Seal of Purity #

Last piece: a silly-but-serious “2025 Love Struck Seal of Purity,” basically an award for surviving the year and grinding on research. Printed, painted a bit, meant to make her laugh and also feel seen.
